Frequently asked questions [FAQs] to help you get started.
How long are the sessions?
Daily sessions generally last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
On average, a person will need between 6 and 20 sessions, depending on their personal problematics and needs. ( Naturally, this also depends on the client and their desire to continue sessions).
Will my confidentiality be respected?
Yes. All sessions are confidential, in line with professional ethical guidelines. Exceptions apply only in cases of danger to yourself or others, or as required by law.
I understand that this is an important point to mention, but there is no doubt that your confidentiality must and will be a priority. Everything you say during our sessions will remain confidential. For those who opt for online therapy, please be aware that no recordings (video or audio) will be taken.
I also value your confidentiality and aim to establish a therapeutic relationship based on trust.
How do the sessions work (in general terms)?
Sessions 1 and 2 are mainly devoted to establishing a comfortable, trusting and collaborative relationship with the client. This also involves carrying out an anamnesis (gathering together the various pieces of information that make up the person's complete 'dossier'). Of course, this shouldn't feel administrative, and your freedom to talk or express yourself on any subject presented is always accepted, encouraged and appreciated during these sessions.
The rest of the sessions include further discussions, psychological questionnaires and methods/procedures of intervention (the in depth work we carry to navigate presenting problems and underlying issues and work towards betterment) , coping techniques and much more. The types of sessions vary from person to person and will depend on your personal needs, but this is what a general outlook looks like.
Do you offer online therapy sessions?
Yes. I offer both in-person and secure online sessions to accommodate different needs and locations.

What kind of therapist am I? What can you expect from working with me?
You may be wondering about the personality and approach of your therapist — and that’s completely valid. Here’s what you can expect from me:
A non-judgmental attitude
Attentive listening and presence
A deeply empathetic and respectful approach
Authentic and honest communication
A commitment to professional ethics and therapeutic alliance
A pragmatic and integrative style, tailored to your unique needs

It is normal to have doubts about the therapy process or to feel anxious about it. It is normal to be resistant and to feel reluctant to express all your concerns. It's normal to have questions about how it's going to work and the reasons that could lead you to reach this decision... I'm here to help you answer these questions and concerns.
How often should I attend therapy?
Most clients start with one session per week, or one session every 10 days. We’ll determine the frequency together based on your goals and availability.
Do I need to have a mental illness to come to therapy?
Not at all. Many people seek therapy for personal growth, stress, relationships, or guidance through life changes. You don’t need a diagnosis to benefit from support.
